Intrathecal Baclofen (ITB) Pump Therapy
The Medtronic SynchroMed® EL Infusion System is an
implantable, programmable drug delivery system used to treat
pain, spasticity, and cancer.
This system has been commercially available since 1988, and
consists of the following components:
-
An implantable, programmable pump
-
An intrathecal catheter
-
An external programmer
The SynchroMed EL Infusion System is
indicated for:
• Chronic intrathecal or epidural infusion of sterile,
preservative-free morphine sulfate for chronic, intractable
pain of malignant and/or benign origin;
• Chronic infusion of baclofen for severe spasticity of
spinal or cerebral origin;
• Chronic intravascular infusion of chemotherapy for the
treatment of cancer:
o Floxuridine (FUDR)
o Doxorubicin
o Methotrexate
o Cisplatin
• Chronic intravenous infusion of clindamycin for the
treatment of osteomyelitis.

The CODMAN® 3000
The CODMAN® 3000 Infusion Pump is a cost-effective therapy
for those patients that fail conventional medical treatment.
This elegantly simple device features an inexhaustible power
supply, and does not require frequent replacements
associated with battery powered pumps. The slow, continuous
drug delivery of the constant flow pump into the intraspinal
space eliminates the peaks and valleys often experienced
with traditional drug therapy.
The Codman 3000 implantable pump is divided into inner and
outer chambers by accordion-like bellows. The inner chamber
that contains the drug to be infused. The outer chamber
contains propellant permanently sealed inside.
The patient's own body temperature warms the propellant,
which exerts a constant pressure on the bellows. This causes
the drug to flow out of the inner chamber through a filter
and flow restrictor then slowly out of the catheter.

Infusion Pump (SK-600I)
Infusion pump are economical products of
intellectualization, collectivization and hi-tech which can
be used in all clinics or wards, thus promoting the
previously single pump intravenous infusion control to mass
control. The patients' infusion situation and alarm
information (eg. OVER, pipe occlusion) can all be seen at
the nurse's station. This greatly improves the medical
nursing quality, reduces the nurse's workload, and ensures
the patient's nursing safety.
It is also used in hospitals where patients need intravenous
infusion at steady speed or continuous and precise infusion.
Product Feature: >
1. Unique door-free structure design. It makes this medical
equipment easier and more convenient to operate. Pull up the
handle and put in the injection tube from the middle. Then
pull down the handle. Whether the tube is in its place or
not will be automatically indicated. Press the startup
button to start the infusion.
2. Unique infusion supervision function. Key in a bed number
and the infusion supervision management system at the nurse
station will simultaneously display the infusion progress or
alarm information of the patient of this bed number. This
realizes the dream of giving the patient an accurate
infusion while supervising his infusion.
3. The unique door-free infusion pump completely prevents
infusion tube from deviation, thus enabling a safe infusion
process. Air detector and pressure sensor can precisely
detect tube air bubbles and blocking situation followed with
an immediate alarm signal.
4. Application of double CPU, making the infusion process
safer and more reliable. running
